Terms of Service ​

Welcome to NitroRouter (nitrorouter.com). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("you," "your," or "User") and NitroRouter ("we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the NitroRouter API and website (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service ​

NitroRouter is an API routing service that provides unified access to multiple upstream Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. We deliver API endpoints compatible with standard AI interfaces (e.g., OpenAI SDKs), routing your requests to various third-party providers.

2. Account Registration ​

  • You must register for an account to use the API.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys. You are fully responsible for all activities, including API usage and billing incurred under your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy ​

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
  • Transmit prompts or generate content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or promotes self-harm.
  • Attempt to bypass, exploit, or reverse-engineer our infrastructure, rate limits, or billing systems.
  • Violate the Acceptable Use Policies of our upstream AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach this policy.

4. Payment and Billing ​

  • Fees: The Service is billed based on token consumption and model pricing described on our site.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through our third-party provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
  • Prepaid Credits: Users must maintain a positive credit balance to use the API. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Third-Party Upstream Providers ​

NitroRouter relies on third-party AI services.

  • No Warranty on Outputs: We do not generate AI content directly and are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of the content returned by upstream models.
  • Service Availability: Our uptime is dependent on the availability of these third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for upstream outages.

6. Content and Data Ownership ​

  • Your Data: You retain all rights and ownership to the inputs (prompts) you submit via the API and the outputs generated by the models.
  • License to Provide Service: You grant us a temporary, limited license to process, route, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability ​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NitroRouter AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE.
  • ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS FOR THE SERVICE.

8. Indemnification ​

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NitroRouter and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Modifications to the Service and Terms ​

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service or any features with or without notice. We may also modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes (e.g., via email or website notice). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law ​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
